ABS-CBN and TV5 won at 2011 Asian TV Awards

Philippines won 2 Awards from the recently-concluded 16th Asian TV Awards thanks to ABS-CBN and TV5 at hindi naulit ang nagyari sa Pilipinas Last year, 2010, kung saan walang napanalunan ang Pilipinas sa nasabing International Award-Giving Body.

Nanalo bilang Best Talk Show ang “The Bottomline with Boy Abunda” ng ABS-CBN tinalo nito ang mga ibang nominado na galing Malaysia, India, Singapore at pati ang entry ng CNN-Hongkong.

Samantala, nakuha naman ng TV5 ang Best Theme Song para sa 'Real Confession' Original Soundtrack na gawa ni Boy Christopher Ramos na 'Ito Ang Buhay Ko'. Tinalo nito ang mga entries ng Singapore at Malaysia.

This year, 2011, mayroong 7 nominations ang Pilipinas sa Asian TV Awards. Narito ang listahan ng mga nominado ngunit hindi pinalad na manalo:

Best Supporting Actress:
Angel Aquino for “Magkaribal” (ABS-CBN)

Best General Entertainment:
Mind Master (GMA-7)

Best Comedy Performance by an Actor:
Michael V. for “Pepito Manaloto” (GMA-7)

Best General Entertainment:
Talentadong Pinoy (TV5)

Best Comedy Program:
Lokomoko (TV5)
