Megastar Sharon Cuneta signed a five-year-contract with TV5

MANILA, Philippines – Finally ending all speculation, megastar Sharon Cuneta on Tuesday signed a five-year contract with TV5 for a daily show, a reality show and even movies with Studio 5 in partnership with Viva Films, including a much-awaited screen reunion with Gabby Concepcion.

The production for the movie starts March 2012.

Signing the contract with the megastar were TV5 President and CEO Ray C. Espinosa, TV5 COO and EVP Roberto Barreiro and Viva Entertainment Big Boss Vic del Rosario.

Sharon looked visibly excited and was her usual giggly self as she talked about the career change in joining the “Kapatid Network,” while confessing she had mixed emotions at the signing.

She said she looked forward to going back to her first love---singing—in her shows on TV5.

Earlier, daughter KC Concepcion said she was mildly surprised on hearing the news about her mother’s joining the Kapatid Network, but said she has always supported her mom in her career choices.
