ABS-CBN new show "Junior Master Chef Pinoy Edition" which is hosted by Judy Ann Santos beats its rival "Wiltime Bigtime" of TV5 and "Manny Many Prizes" of GMA-7. As it register a People Ratings of 10.4% which is higher than "Wiltime Bigtime" 9.5% and "Manny Many Prizes" 7.3%

TV5 beats GMA-7 last Saturday (Aug 27) on Primetime Nationwide according to Nielsen Data

TV5 finally beat GMA-7 on the much contested Primetime block last saturday (August 27, 2011) on Nielsen Data Nationwide (NUTAM). Because of that, TV5 settled to no. 2 spot while GMA-7 become no. 3 network. On the other hand, ABS-CBN still reign Nationwide Ratings with its 40.3% registered.

ABS-CBN tinalo ang GMA-7 in Total Ad Minutes for the 1st 6 months of 2011

ABS-CBN once again proved that they are Unbeatable TV network dahil nanguna ang ABS-CBN when it comes to "Pinakamaraming Ad Minutes" nitong 1st six months of 2011. Nakatala ng 49,078 Total Ad Minutes ang ABS-CBN. Tinalo nila ang GMA-7 Network na mayroon lamang 46,049 Ad Minutes sa kabila ng pagiging no. 1 nila sa AGB Mega Manila households Ratings.  

Samantala, umakyat rin ang total ad minutes ng TV5 mula last year, ngayon ay nakakakuha na ito ng more than 12,063 Ad Minutes at tinalo pa nito ang Ad Minutes na nakuha ng sister station ng ABS-CBN na Studio 23. Ngunit sa kabilang dako ay hindi pa ganoon kaganda ang Ad minutes na tinatanggap ng GMA News TV mula ng mag-reformat ito noong February 28, 2011.

ABS-CBN Regional Network Group launched "Choose Philippines" Music Video

MANILA, Philippines – In line with the commemoration of the National Heroes Day on August 29, ABS-CBN Creative Communications Management (CCM) and the Regional Network Group (RNG) launched the “Choose Philippines” music video on “ASAP Rocks” on Sunday.

The music video, titled “Piliin mo ang Pilipinas,” was performed by “Star Power” grand winner Angeline Quinto and singer Vincent Bueno. Both were also the voices behind the song “Bida Best sa Tag-Araw," the network's summer station ID.

"Piliin mo ang Pilipinas" was written by ABS-CBN CCM Vice President Robert Labayen, who also composed the much lauded Station ID song “Bro, Star ng Pasko.”

“Choose Philippines” is the new social networking website of ABS-CBN RNG.

Star Cinema's "Way Back Home" grossed 18 Million Pesos in just 5 days. "Way Back home" starred Kathryn Bernardo, Julia Montes, Sam Concepcion and Enrique Gil. Pero hindi pwedeng magpasiguro ang pelikula ng Star Cinema dahil sa 2nd week nito sa takilya ay makakalaban nila ang movie na prinodyus ng GMA Films "Tween Academy: Class Of  2012".

Kaya naman, binabalak na ng ABS-CBN ang paggawa ng mas malaking studio para sa "happy Yipee Yehey" para mas maraming makanuod at mas maraming mapasaya raw ang kanilang palabas.

Eugene Domingo's indie film titled " Ang Babae Sa Septic Tank" rakes 6 Million Pesos in the box-office. 6 million pesos is not bad for an indie film.

On the other hand, GMA Films and Regal Films "Temptation Island" failed to meet the 100 Million Pesos Mark for their movie, as it only got 60 million pesos for 5 weeks. Star Cinema's "Adventures of Pureza" meanwhile has been crashed by "Harry Potter" that result to only below 20 Million Pesos gain.
