TV5 decided to cancel its daily late night showbiz talk show "Juicy!" starting Monday next week, while the station's Saturday morning showbiz-oriented talk show "Pararazzi Showbiz Exposed" airs its finale episode on Saturday, July 28.
The cancellation of both shows has nothing to do, at least according to TV5 insider, with the controversies brought about by the "bulong" issue which prompted one of TV5's main star Ruffa Gutierrez to resign and call the show a "trash", nor anything about Cristy Fermin who hosted both shows. Mmmm...maybe due of its poor ratings?
Now, TV5 announces that this coming Saturday, August 4, it will unveil its newest showbiz-oriented program called 'Ang Latest'. The half-hour show tackles the hottest showbiz issues delivered by the country’s most engaging hosts, Cristy Fermin, Mr. Fu, Amy Perez and Lucy Torres-Gomez.
To get your instant fix of entertainment updates, keep your eyes peeled for Ang Latest Up-To-The-Minute, a series of one-minute interstitials that will air Mondays to Sundays in between TV5’s top programs. The show promises to deliver the freshest news right when you need it. As Juicy ends its run this coming August 4, a new show takes over its former timeslot - Ang Latest Up Late is a late-night recap of the day’s entertainment buzz.
